​​​​Cub Scouts Pack 51 is the oldest Pack and Troop in La Mesa. It was started by Jim and Helen Freed (parishioners) over 40 years ago. Their children are SMA alumni. Girl Scouts USA is a national organization dedicated to “building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place”.  Troop 5199 was established at St. Martin of Tours Academy in 2018 and is part of the Girl Scout San Diego La Mesa Service Unit. Troop meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month in Barry Hall from 2:30-4:30pm.  For inquiries about joining or starting your own troop contact Alex Prsha at gstroop5199@gmail.com.
